"I paint in a variety of mediums including watercolour, acrylics and oils; draw in any medium available at the
moment, am a graphic/computer artist/mural painter/art supplies retailer, and freelance writer for the
Barnacle.
I have lived on Salt Spring for a dozen years now and arrived here via Ontario, Alberta, and
Newfoundland. I do not characterize myself as a Westcoast painter, my subject matter and media are
wildly eclectic, and I will paint, or draw, or digitize pretty much anything that catches my eye at
the moment, in an ever-evolving process of creative exploration.
I particularly loved rendering the murals at the Ocean Roundhouse, as any contact with Degas,
Gauguin, and Rivera has got to be inspiring."
